Ordering

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

 

Purchasing with a deposit
Original paintings over the value of £400 can be purchased in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. Please contact me to pay 50% upfront and the remaining balance can be paid in full, or payable in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Details will be emailed to you. The work will be available to you on receipt of the full amount. By choosing this option you understand that this is a deposit to secure your artwork and you will be required to pay the remaining balance.

This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 days in total. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

 

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you are local or visiting the Yorkshire Dales you would be very welcome to come to the studio to collect at a mutually convenient time if you add that request in the notes. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. I live in a lovely area and bringing the dog out for a walk and going for a pub lunch before collecting your work would make a nice day of it!

 

What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Shipping costs are included within the UK and the delivery will be signed for.

 

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

 

Returns

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so if a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.

 

What if my piece arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.

 

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
