Unless you are signing up to a specifically advertised course, there are several printmaking techniques we can cover, from Intaglio printmaking using drypoint, carborundum or collagraph to block printing using lino or monotypes.

Depending on your experience and interests we will focus on one or two different techniques that may be kept seperate or combined. The final prints you produce will very much depend on your interests so if you have sketches, photos or designs you would like to work from bring them along.

The morning will be spent preparing your printing block or plate which you will use to produce a small edition of prints from in the afternoon.

If you contact me about your preferences we can arrange a course that suits you and talk through the sort of images that may be appropriate for your chosen technique, or alternatively you can use the stimulus provided.

A light lunch (soup, sandwiches and cake) and unlimited tea and coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day.... creativity needs fuel!
