From the open water swimming series this large diptych explores the feelings of submersion in cold water; the pain of the cold, the exhilaration and the tranquility.
The two paintings are on aluminium cradled wooden panels, the sides painted Farrow and Ball light grey. They are not framed, giving the impression that the water has space to spill further.
